2018 Annual Elba Muck Onion Twilight Meeting Featuring Herbicide Trial Tours
All onion growers are invited to this event which will feature trial tours and demonstrations of pre- and post-emergent weed control in direct seeded onions. 2.0 DEC recertification credits (categories 1a, 10 and 23) will be offered for those that attend the entire meeting. CCA credits will be available as well.

We will start with dinner at 5:30 PM at Mortellaro's Red Shop and then the educational program and tours will be held from 6:00 - 8:30 PM.

Topics include:
  • Pre- and post-emergent control
  • Weeds: pigweed, ragweed, lamb's quarters, nightshade, annual mustards, yellow nutsedge, etc.
  • PRE-emergent herbicides: Prowl EC, Prowl H2O, Outlook, Buctril, Chateau, bicyclopyrone, Reflex
  • POST-emergent herbicides: Goal 2XL, Goaltender, Chateau, Buctril, Stinger, Reflex, bicyclopyrone
  • Timing to weeds, tank mixes, strategies, programs, crop safety
